Good year for
agricultural men

Gwinear Agricultural Association
enjoyed another successful year Mr
Cyril Mitchell, treasurer, told the
annual meeting there was a profit of
£500 on the year and a balance of
£376 after they had bought a tent.

At this years show a dog section
was introduced.   Next year there would
be mountain and moorland horse
sections,  he said.   The show would be
on April 23 at Lanyon Farm, near
Carnhell Green

Officers: President C. James;   chair-
man,  J. Sampson;   vice-chairman,  F.
Pascoe ;   treasurer,  Mr. Mitchell;
secretaries, Maj W. E. M. Gardner
and Mrs. M Stapleton.   About 200
people enjoyed the association’s annual
dinner and dance at the Cottage Hotel,
Carbis Bay.
