2026, will mark the 50th anniversary of the second format of Gwinear Agricultural Association show.
The Association held its first show in the early 1900s and was very successful for many years, but after support lapsed the Association did not hold any shows between 1959 and 1975. In 1976 the show was revived and continued until 2020 when the Pandemic forced the show to be cancelled. Difficulties with finding a suitable site and restrictions on animal movements brought about another change, with classes focussing on the Domestic side of the show.
We would like to mark this 50th anniversary with an exhibition showcasing the whole history of the show.
